Euonymus alatus (Dwarf Winged Burning Bush)
Euonymus alatus 'Little Moses'

Staff Favorite:

"Little Moses is what I call a “dwarf-dwarf”. If you’re familiar with compact Euonymus, you know it isn’t very compact and can reach up to 8’ tall. But Little Moses is truly a dwarf Burning Bush that will give you the same fiery red fall color but on a much smaller 2-3’ tall plant. This shrub is easy to fit anywhere in the landscape where full sun is available."

Common Name: Dwarf Winged Burning Bush

One of the easiest shrubs to grow. Burning Bush can tolerate a wide variety of growing conditions, even a nearby Black Walnut tree. Its best feature of course, is the bright red fall leaf color, but this adaptable deciduous shrub can grow just about anywhere except poorly drained soils. Corky, winged bark adds interest in winter to early spring.
