Mid-spring, large, semi-double to double flowers begin lavender-pink and age to soft pink. The colors intensify toward the base of each flower, beautifully framing the gold centers. Forms a compact and tidy mound of deep green foliage.

This Itoh variety is a profuse bloomer! Buds start out cherry-red, open to orange and apricot-pink with subtle edges of purple. Then the 8" flowers will fade to yellow. One plant can have 3 different colored blooms at the same time! Stems are sturdy so no staking is needed; spicy fragrance.
