Annuals

Annuals

Annuals are plants that complete their life cycle from germination to seed production within one growing season and then die. Generally, they produce many months of flowers or colorful foliage that offer a long window of opportunity to sell as a finished product. They are useful in mixed containers where you need lots of flower power or color. Most annuals need above freezing temperatures to survive so they prefer warmer greenhouses that are separate from any perennial production. Make sure to fertilize regularly because they are typically heavy feeders.
