Similar to other Amsonia but with improved form. Abundant clusters of small, powdery blue flowers on reddish stems above a mound of willowy, narrow foliage. The bright green leaves of spring and summer change to dramatic hues of yellow, deep gold and butterscotch in fall. Easy to grow and relatively low maintenance.
