Crocosmia

Common Name: Montbretia

Tender perennial in northern climates. Crocosmia form corms similar to gladiolus. They should be planted 3 per gallon, 2" below the soil. Grow in full sun. Where hardy, they produce large clumps of narrow swordlike foliage with long arching flowering stems. Spectacular color when in bloom. Protect with additional mulch in northern climates.
